AAS has succeeded in making a good acoustic guitar simulation. The diversity of the various attack techniques is simply top. And with the soon to be release electric version, this is quite exciting.
Strum presents itself as an extremely expressive and playable instrument.
Our test revealed very favorably the full sound and dynamic response of Strum.
What's exremely impressive is the multitude of chords the program recognize.
The modelled sound is remarkably realistic, and with care and practice fairly convincing strummed and arpeggiated rhythm parts can be achieved, as well as expressive solo lines.
Strum is entertaining and great fun to use, and a valid alternative to sample-based guitar emulations.
Strum’s models are as good as it gets, and its accurate articulation and sophisticated chord voicing make it an utterly convincing chord-melody instrument, an excellent solo voice, and an agile accompanist. I recommend it highly.
