Applied Acoustics Systems releases version 3.1 of the Multiphonics CV-3 modular synthesizer

Montreal, Quebec—February 17, 2026—Applied Acoustics Systems announces the official release of version 3.1 of its Multiphonics CV-3 modular synthesizer for macOS and Windows.

This new version, a thematic update dedicated to FM synthesis, brings four new modules to the Multiphonics library: the FM Core Operator module, a building block used in the creation of complex digital FM patches; the REZ oscillator, an original digital waveform generator; a new envelope generator module; and a comprehensive spectrum analyzer for signal visualization.

This so-called FM+ update is free of charge for registered Multiphonics CV-3 users and is available directly from the AAS user portal.

Multiphonics CV-3 is available at the suggested retail price of US$199. Multiphonics CV-3 runs on both macOS and Windows in 64-bit host sequencers that support the VST2, VST3, Audio Units, and AAX Native formats.
