Technology Update—now with Mac OS X Leopard support
WINDOWS – RTAS – MAC OS X – UNIVERSAL BINARY
This Windows and Mac OS X Technology Update brings support for the new Intel-based Mac systems and Mac OS X Leopard (10.5), includes brand new Pro Tools RTAS plug-ins for both Windows and Mac OS X, a handful of new features and several bug fixes.

Exemptions
1. Users who already purchased the Technology Update (before the inclusion of Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) support) can download the latest version free of charge.
2. Users who purchased and registered their instrument after September 1st of 2006, fall in the grace period and can obtain their update free of charge. Windows and Mac OS X (on PowerPC-based Mac systems—G4 and G5 processors) Tassman users are also elligible to the free update.
Aren't updates suppose to be free?
True, we usually don’t charge for maintenance updates, but the Technology Update involved more than a year of development to port our applications to Intel-based Mac systems, bring RTAS plug-in support to the Windows platform, and add a handful of new features. It was impossible for us to make this a viable update without the help of our entire user base.
