Are the AAS instruments compatible with Apple's Logic Pro 8 (Logic Studio) and Logic Express 8?
Yes, the AAS instruments are compatible with Logic Pro 8 and Logic Express 8 running on Mac OS X Tiger (10.4).
And now with the latest versions (see below), the AAS instruments are compatible with Logic Pro 8 and Logic Express 8 running on Mac OS X Leopard (10.5).

I'm running Windows Vista and my AAS intrument graphic interface is not displayed properly.
The current AAS instrument installers are not fully compatible with Windows Vista, some file paths are not assigned thus the graphic interface is not loaded properly. New installers will be available in the near future. In the mean time, please use the Vista fixes below.
Quit the AAS instrument standalone application or your host sequencer, download and run the Vista fix.
Be sure to run the Vista fix after your AAS instrument is installed.

How many times can I authorize my AAS instrument?
Your AAS intrument license grants you three authorizations. We can provide more install keys if you contact us with appropriate details of the situation.

What type of copy protection do AAS instruments use?
All AAS instruments use a proprietary copy protection based on a challenge/response mechanism.

Does Tassman respond to breath controller; for example, sent by a Yamaha WX5?
Yes. The Breath Controller module in Tassman provides this control signal.

Is Ultra Analog a recreation of a classic analog synthesizer like the Minimoog?
No. However, Ultra Analog's flexible patch permits configuration similar to the classic Moogs, Arps, Yamaha CS series, Sequential Circuits, etc. The sound of those classics can be achieved easily with Ultra Analog.

Is Ultra Analog's patch available in Tassman 4?
No. As for Lounge Lizard, Tassman was used to design the prototype. However, improvements, CPU optimization as well as a new interface were created to make a dedicated analog synthesizer patch.

Can I transfer my AAS instrument license to someone else?
Yes. To complete a license transfer, we need your AAS instrument serial number as well as the contact information of the new owner—full name and email address.
Your serial number will be disabled—future authorizations won't be possible. We will also send download links for the installers as well as a new serial number to the new owner.

The standalone application of my AAS instrument doesn't produce any sound?
First, make sure your MIDI interface is selected/highlighted in the MIDI Settings dialog available from the MIDI / MIDI Settings... menu.
Then, make sure you select/highlight the audio interface port you want to use in the Audio Settings dialog available from the Audio / Audio Settings... menu.

Can I install my AAS instrument on more than one computer?
The AAS instrument license includes installation for three different computers that are not used simultaneously and owned by the same person.

I've completed the authorization process on my Mac system but I'm prompted to authorize again each time I start my AAS instrument?
To complete the authorization process successfully, you must have administrator privileges or be logged in as administrator.
If you still have difficulties, you can repair your disk permissions with the Disk Utility application located in Applications: Utilities.
